Daniels is an attorney, commercial real estate broker, Distinguished Fellow at Elmhurst College and former Illinois Representative. He practiced law from 1967 until he retired in 2006 from the Chicago law firm of Bell Boyd & Lloyd, where he was an equity partner. Mr. Daniels served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1975 to 2007, and was Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1997. Today he is a licensed real estate broker and partner/managing broker of Daniels Slone, LLC, a commercial real estate firm in Elmhurst, IL and serves on the Board of Directors for Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust, Inc.  Mr. Daniels brings to his real estate clientele a depth of knowledge and experience based on years of legal practice and real estate development. Mr. Daniels is currently a member of the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Healthcare Board of Trustees and the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Board of Governors. He also volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors of the Haymarket Center, Chicago and chairman of the Seguin Services Capital Campaign. Mr. Daniels is a graduate of the University of Iowa and earned a law degree from John Marshall Law School.
